Zero-result rate
The share of searches that return nothing — the single most actionable search metric.
Every zero-result page is a shopper who wanted to give you money and couldn't. The zero-result rate measures how often it happens, and the query log behind it tells you exactly which words failed.
AACSearch attacks the metric from both ends: the rescue ladder (layout, transliteration, broadening) turns empty pages into results, and autopilot proposes synonyms from the queries that still fall through, for a person to approve.
