AACSearch separates the ordinary search workload from the AI workload, so the cost of classic search is never hidden inside an opaque “AI usage” line. Before launch you should understand:
Every successful call to the tenant API — a search, an autocomplete call, an indexing write. A failed request is not counted, and a retry with the same Idempotency-Key counts once.
Assistant answers, embeddings, voice and image search. They are paid from a credit wallet, not from the request quota.
Requests per month, included AI credits and search profiles. The numbers on the cards come from the same file the API enforces.
Requests over the quota are answered with a 429 until the period resets; an AI operation without credits is answered with a 402 before the model runs. Nothing is billed afterwards.
A capability outside your plan is refused by the API rather than silently enabled. The comparison table below lists every one by plan.
Instead of picking a plan by its name, estimate your real load. Set your document count, monthly search requests — autocomplete calls included — and AI usage. The calculator estimates the workload and shows the plan that fits; if a number isn't priced yet, we say so instead of guessing.
Collections are unlimited on every plan, including Free — catalogue size never changes which tier you need.
Estimate uses published chat rates (2/6 credits per 1k tokens) — not a guaranteed invoice. Keyword search does not spend credits.
