Voice search
Speaking a query instead of typing it — the audio is transcribed, then searched exactly like typed text.
A short audio clip is transcribed to text and run through the same query pipeline as a typed search — typo tolerance, synonyms and hybrid retrieval all still apply, so a mis-transcribed word is rescued the same way a mis-typed one would be.
Because transcription and search are separate, composable steps, the transcript is available to show back to the user (“heard: running shoes”) so a misheard query is obvious and easy to correct rather than a silent wrong answer.
