Hybrid search

Combining keyword search with vector search so a query matches both exact words and meaning.

Keyword (lexical) search matches the actual words in a query — fast, precise, but brittle when the reader's vocabulary differs from the document's. Vector search embeds queries and documents into a shared space and matches meaning instead of spelling.

Hybrid search runs both retrieval strategies and merges the results, so a query for «running shoes» still finds a product titled «кроссовки для бега» through its vector, while an exact SKU lookup stays exact. AACSearch runs hybrid out of the box with reranking of the merged candidates.
